Highlight of the second day at Inverness is the Gold Clasp competition, which, with the Senior Piobaireachd at the Argyllshire Gathering, is the most prestigious ceòl mòr prize in world piping. Competing Pipers’ Association Bronze Medal – updated

This new competition was held today in the Piping Centre in Glasgow. Its purpose is to give a platform for those who fail to achieve selection for the Silver Medal competitions at Oban and Inverness. Twenty two entered, 21 played. The competition is part-sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society.
