PP Editor’s Blog: P/M Ian McLellan/ Schools Funding/ New Letters/ Donald McKillop

The top picture is of the 214th Co. BB pipe band in the 1950s. The piper behind Pipe Major Alex MacIver is a very young Ian McLellan who as pipe major of the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band went on to become the most successful pipe major in history. This may be the earliest picture of P/M McLellan on parade with his pipes.
