Day Two at the Argyllshire Gathering saw the bulk of the ceol beag events taking place at a bright, warm (eventually) Mossfield Park, Oban. The 2017 Argyllshire Gathering began this morning in Oban with the major piobaireachd events, the Gold Medal, Senior Piobaireachd, Silver Medal and MacGregor Memorial Piobaireachd. Four qualifiers for the MacGregor Memorial competition announced early afternoon were: Brodie Watson-Massey, John Dew, Rebecca Tierney, Calum Brown, Brighde Chaimbeul, Andrew Ferguson, Lewis Russell, Donald Stewart.
