Glenfinnan Games

For those not at the Worlds yesterday there was the opportunity to play at the most picturesque Highland games in the world, Glenfinnan. Shotts Win Worlds Title

Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band are the new World Champions. They won both MSR and Medley sections to take the title today at a cold, but ultimately sunny, Glasgow Green. After a very distinguished career of more than 20 years, Ross Walker is standing down as Pipe Major of Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band. Forecast for today’s G1 Worlds qualifying is for a dull day with a maximum temperature of 15degs; no sun.
