This competition was held today in the National Piping Centre in Glasgow as part of the Piping Live festival. Overall winner was Callum Beaumont on a piobaireachd preference. The 2022 Silver Chanter winner was Finlay Johnston playing the classic Lament for the Children. Skye Gathering 2022 Results – Kemble Star March & S&R Added

The annual, two-day Skye Gathering piping competitions began yesterday in Portree. Twenty-six entered for the Dunvegan Medal contest for which pipers have to submit four MacCrimmon tunes.
