Competing Pipers’ Association Bronze Medal – updated

This new competition was held today in the Piping Centre in Glasgow. Its purpose is to give a platform for those who fail to achieve selection for the Silver Medal competitions at Oban and Inverness. Twenty two entered, 21 played. The competition is part-sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society. Argyllshire Gathering at Oban Enjoys a Successful Two Days of Competition

What a jovial, jubilant, just brilliant return to form by the Argyllshire Gathering. The first major solo piping event for three years was a triumph in every sense and just reward for the stewards for their determination and ‘can do’ attitude throughout the pandemic years.
