This annual competition for holders of the top awards at Oban and Inverness was held yesterday at the Piping Centre in Glasgow. Champion Piper was Alan Bevan, British Columbia (pictured above). The weather was reportedly rather cool for some of the participants’ fingers, but they coped well, writes Duncan Watson.
