SPA Professional Contest – Full Results

The annual professional competition run by the Scottish Pipers’ Association was held at the Piping Centre in Glasgow today, April 22. There was a good entry in all categories except P/A. The competition was sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society, McCallum Bagpipes and the Competing Pipers’ Association. This was a very successful day at Lochnell Castle, Argyll. The audience was quite an increase on last year and all were treated to a sumptuous lunch courtesy our host Lord Archie Cochrane. This prestigious contest for pipers aged under 22 was held on Saturday, October 22nd, at Lochnell Castle, Benderloch, Argyll.
