A few weeks ago I said I would take a closer a look at the small book of tunes to be played by bands competing for the World Championship held at Cowal Highland Gathering in 1932, writes the Editor. These Games were held in the grounds of Glamis Castle, Angus, last Sunday, June 11. The castle was the early home of Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, the late Queen Mother. A pleasant, warm day for this small games in the north-east held last Saturday, 10th June. The venue was Castle Lodge Field, Cockbridge, at the head of Strathdon, Aberdeenshire.
