The 2014 championship was won by Stuart Liddell (pictured above on his way to victory and below with the trophy) who placed 3rd in Ceol Mor and 2nd in the MSR. World Solo Drumming (updated comment and pix)

Steven McWhirter of Inveraray and District won his fifth World Solo title today at the championship held in Glasgow Caledonian University. His accompanist was his pipe major, Stuart Liddell.
