Winners from Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band at last weekend’s Captain John Memorial

The ‘Captain John’ was held at the Army School of Piping in Inchdrewer House, Edinburgh, last weekend. Unfortunately we have not been sent the complete results and below is what we have drawn together from other sources.

Glengarry Cup, Ontario

The Ottawa Branch of the Pipers’ and Pipe Band Society of Ontario hosted this annual competition on September 26, attracting top pipers from Canada, the US, and Scotland. The Piobaireachd is held in the afternoon, followed by the MSR in the evening. The overall winner was Andrew Hayes.

The Glengarry Cup has a history dating back to the 1980s when it was first donated by the Glengarry Pipe Band. Past winners include Andrea Boyd, Ed Bush, Rob Crabtree, Bruce Gandy, Michael Grey, Andrew Hayes, Matt MacIsaac, Colin MacLellan, Ian K. MacDonald, and many others.
