Torquil Telfer, Piping Convenor, said: ‘Whilst it is disappointing that we cannot, once more, put on the Argyllshire Gathering as previous years, we feel that these events will go a significant way to commemorate our 150th Anniversary.
‘I am sure the competing pipers will turn out to support us on the march to the games on the Thursday and we are hoping for a good crowd of piping enthusiasts too.
‘The two days we are promoting offer a wonderful opportunity to hear world class piping ‘face to face’, something that we have all been missing so much.’
