The RSPBA NI Branch have now confirmed all of their venues for the 2024 season and have also confirmed that several dates have fallen by the wayside. The Atholl Gathering was held yesterday (May 26) in the grounds of Blair Castle, Perthshire. Seventy-eight solo pipers, junior and senior, entered meaning an early 9.30am start. The weather was cold and wet but had cleared up by late afternoon. Champion Piper was Brodie Watson-Massey pictured above with his trophy. The Atholl Gathering was held today (May 26) in the grounds of Blair Castle, Perthshire. Seventy-eight solo pipers, junior and senior, competed meaning an early 9.30am start and a late finish.
