A few weeks ago I said I would take a closer a look at the small book of tunes to be played by bands competing for the World Championship held at Cowal Highland Gathering in 1932, writes the Editor. A pleasant, warm day for this small games in the north-east held last Saturday, 10th June. The venue was Castle Lodge Field, Cockbridge, at the head of Strathdon, Aberdeenshire. Congratulations to all the participants in the 35th Annual United States Piping Foundation Amateur and Professional Piping Championships, writes Mike Rogers.
