A very high standard in grade 1. Congratulations to Inveraray on winning the Worlds. Take a bow Stuart, Alasdair, Steven and all the band. Pure magical performances. What leaders and players you have. The dream team of musical construction and interpretation. A joy to listen over and over again.
Another outstanding performance by Inveraray. It is their sheer consistency that allows them to dominate Grade 1 in both MSR and Medley disciplines, and across 4 performances. Although the full RSPBA summary tables have yet to appear, by my reckoning they are first in the overall summary table with 28 points. Second is FMM with 55 points i.e. a separation of 27 points. Last year, Inveraray’s overall lead in the summary table was by 22 points. In most previous years, there has only been a handful of total points separating the top 3 or 4 bands. Supreme domination by Inveraray, and likely to continue for years to come. Well done!
Last year Inveraray sounded like a band that could dominate for 20 years.
So they’ve made a helluva start.
I always assumed that Richard Parkes record would never be broken.
I wouldn’t want to.put too much money on that assumption any more.
Liddell is the Messi of the pipe band world
Congratulations to PMSL And IDPB on a well deserved win
