The Glenfiddich Champion for 2024 is Callum Beaumont (above). He was placed first in MSR and third in Ceòl Mòr. Runner-up was Stuart Liddell, with Nick Hudson, Texas, in third. There was a large audience in the great hall at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl.

Some time ago, I suggested that reports of competitions would be a positive in several ways and that senior judges particularly might be expected to produce occasional reports of competitions. This would hopefully inform the audiences of how results are arrived at in a transparent way.
if the Piping Centre has employed a reporter to produce an article it would be of interest and to be looked forward to.
