Archie Kenneth Quaich Result/ CLASP Online Results

The Archie Kenneth Quaich 2024 was held in the rooms of the Royal Scottish Pipers Society last Saturday, 24th February. The winner was Arran King who is pictured above.

The competition is promoted by the Piobaireachd Society. A large entry of 38 was reduced to 25 by ballot. Twenty-one played. Result:

The judges were Ronald McShannon and Finlay Johnston; Alan Forbes, Chairman of the Piobaireachd Society’s Music Committee, presented the prizes.

  1. You news blog is very informative, but is quite UK-centric. Recently, U.S. completed a major piping event called “Metro Cup”, but it wasn’t reported anywhere by your blog.

    1. We have carried the results and reports from the Metro Cup in the past Mr Young; indeed we recently carried the 2024 draws for the piping, both amateur and professional. We did not receive any results or pictures or reports from the organisers for this year’s event. RW
