The father of the only junior competitor has been in touch to point out that there was a junior competition on the day – for piobaireachd and march and strathspey and reel – although there was only one entry, his son Finlay.
Mr John Peden writes: ‘Hopefully if we highlight that these competitions are happening by recording the results then we will get more juniors attending. Thanks for all the good work you do at Piping Press it is really appreciated amongst the piping community.’
