World Solo Drumming Draw

The RSPBA has published the draw for the World Solo Drumming and International Tenor Drumming competition to be held in Glasgow Caledonian University on Oct 21.

A huge entry of over 50 side drummers  have put their names forward for the Adult section:

​​​The very best dru​​mmers from top pipe bands around the world are back in Glasgow to compete for honours.

Musicians will be tested in two events; March, Strathspey and Reel, and Hornpipe and Jig. The champion will be the drummer with the highest aggregate scores after both events.
World Solo Drumming Championships 2017 is​ presented in conjunction with Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. This year the World Solo Drumming Championships sponsored by Andante Drums will take place on Saturday 21 October 2017 at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Seating is unreserved and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. In the event of the lecture hall selling out there will be live footage shown on a screen in the refectory.
