Scots Guards KO Result

P/M Jimmy Banks reports: Jonathon Simpson of Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band won our KO final yesterday beating Ben Duncan of the Army School. A huge audience of 70+ in the Guards Club at Haymarket. We had two really good performances. Each piper entertained us well. I had Ian McLellan, Walter Cowan and Jim Henderson as judges and they all endorsed Jonathon as a worthy winner on the day….

The Northern Ireland Branch of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association held their annual ‘Ulster Solos’ competitions today.
