Four of the major piobaireachd competitions in world piping were held today in Oban, Argyll. The winner of the Gold Medal was Alasdair Henderson, P/Sgt of the Inveraray Pipe Band. Pipers Gather for 2023 Argyllshire Gathering

The world’s top pipers have converged in the west Highland town of Oban for the prestigious Argyllshire Gathering solo piping competitions.
