The weather was reportedly rather cool for some of the participants’ fingers, but they coped well, writes Duncan Watson. The winner of the 57th Silver Chanter was Angus MacColl, Benderloch. His tune was the Lament for the Children. It was Angus’s third win of the prestigious award.
