Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band, reigning World Champions, have launched a crowdfunding campaign for our pre-Worlds concert, ‘Cabar Feidh’, writes band Manager David Burnside.
The concert is on August 14, 2024, at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and is already sold out. The 60-day campaign target is £15,000 and the money will be used to fund the production and recording of a live album and video of the concert.
By contributing to our campaign, you’ll be helping us pay for high-quality recording equipment, professional mastering, a concert video and physical copies of the live album.
Some of the perks available to backers: digital album download, signed CD, vinyl copy, PDF downloads of concert music, signed drum sticks and scores from L/D Kerr McQuillan, plus a private lesson from Kerr, replica of P/M Ross Harvey’s pipes made by Broadleys Bagpipes.

Founded in 1972, Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band, lifted the World Champion Jubilee Trophy and banner at Glasgow Green in August 2023, marking a historic first for the band. In addition to their competitive success, the band is dedicated to youth development and teaching in the local community, nurturing the next generation of pipers and drummers.
