Argyllshire Gathering Piping Competitions Get Underway

The world’s top pipers have arrived in the west Highland town of Oban for the Argyllshire Gathering piping competitions. The ceol mor events are all held today. There are four categories: Senior, Gold Medal, Silver Medal and MacGregor Memorial. Results will be known early evening. Stay tuned to Piping Press for the latest announcements. To Fort William tonight for the annual Lochaber Gathering competition. A strong entry of over 50 pipers from juniors to senior P/A grade.
