Weather conditions were perfect with warm winds and cloud cover protecting against a fierce sun. There was a large crowd in attendance, probably the best there has been fo the Worlds on a Friday and a significant influx of enthusiasts entered Glasgow Green mid afternoon for the start of the junior contests.
The weather is set fair for tomorrow but if you cannot manage to Glasgow Green for day 2 of the Worlds here’s the link for the Saturday livestream. Viewers need to create an account.
Things should be over rather earlier than usual given that the lengthy march past has been scrapped in favour of the ‘all in at once’ approach adopted successfully at the Europeans in Perth.
