South Uist Games Results

The historic South Uist Games were held today on Askernish machair, writes Margaret Mary Findlay.

The solo entries were up from previous years with a uniform high standard of playing. Congratulations to all the competitors and to Angus MacPhee, Inverness, [pictured above] on winning the overall senior piping competitions.  Judges for the day were Dr. Angus MacDonald, Michael Grey and Donald J MacIntyre.
