Inverness Piping Society’s Junior Competition was held last Saturday, November 12, in Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig, Inverness.
This very active society are holding their first winter recital at the end of the month (November 25 7.30 for 8pm). The piper is Alasdair Henderson and the venue is the Grand Hall at Tulloch Castle Hotel near Dingwall. Entry is £10 for adults, £5 for juniors, 12 and under free. Results:

The Overall Champion 14 and Under was a three-way tie between Eòsaph Caimbeul, Ciaran Kellet and Archie MacLean with Archie winning on Piobaireachd preference. The Overall Champion 17 and Under was Connor Kellet of Kyle. Judges for the day were Mrs Rona Lightfoot, Mr Euan MacCrimmon and Mr Archie Maclean.
