There was a good turn out for the first CLASP in-person competition of 2024 held in Glasgow on Saturday 13th January, writes Margaret Houlihan. Brian MacDonald, son of double Gold Medallist, composer and teacher William M. MacDonald, is offering an historic set of pipes which once belonged to his father. Those selected to play for the Piobaireachd Society’s prestigious Archie Kenneth Quaich 2024 have been announced.
