Summer Piobaireachd Course/ RSPBA Summer School/ Bagpipe Auction

Piping Press editor Robert Wallace will be conducting a class in ceol mor separate, but during the RSPBA Summer School this forthcoming August. The dates are August 5, 7 & 9 and the class runs from 10.30am until 12.30pm and from 1pm until 2pm each of the three days. The venue is the Gaelic School, Berkeley Street, Glasgow G3 7HP. British Columbia Highland Games and Scottish Festival

BY ROBERT MACNEILL In sunny and hot weather, the 2019 BC Highland Games and Scottish Festival was held on June 15 at its new venue of Lafarge Lake Park in Coquitlam, BC. 125 solo players and 14 bands competed. Aberdeen Games Results (updated with pictures and juniors)

The annual games were held today at Hazelhead Park, Aberdeen. There was a good entry; weather changeable. Piping Convenor Dr Jack Taylor: ‘Decent turnout of 10 plus 14 juniors which is encouraging.
