We are heading into the penultimate weekend of Highland Games piping with Braemar (Sat.) and Blairgowrie (Sun.). Entries are closed for both. At Blair, a graded event, there are 16 in the P/A Piob. Here is the draw:

There are 23 entered for the over subscribed Open Piobaireachd event at Braemar (eight tunes required, tune given at the bench) where pipers vie for the coveted solid Gold Medal. First in Piobaireachd receives £415 (£210 each for March and Strathspey & Reel).
