The weather was quite nice, if a bit cool at times. It was dry, and Drumtochty Glen (near Auchinblae) is a bonny little glen and this can add to the atmosphere. To boost numbers of pipers attending Drumtochty, the committee are planning to have an Open Piobaireachd competition for adult players in 2020.
