This CD, by double Gold Medallist Robert Wallace, has the following tunes played in full: Earl of Seaforth’s Salute, Lament for Alan, My Son, and the Battle of Waterloo. This last was his Clasp winning performance at the Northern Meeting in 1999. Other tunes played in part are: the Lament for Donald Duaghal MacKay, MacDougall’s Gathering, Lament for Mary MacLeod, Nameless: Hiharin Dro o Dro, Park Piobaireachd No.2 and the ‘big’ Nameless tune, Cherede Darievea. Total playing time 70 mins. approx. The tunes have been recorded at different intervals over his 35 years as a leading professional piper.
