On July 25th and 26th the Victorian Pipers’ Association Victorian Championships was held at PLC Melbourne. The two day event had 56 competitors across light music and piobaireachd, including the Australian Gold, Silver and Bronze Piobaireachd medals, supported by the Piobaireachd Society, writes Jono Quay, President.
A recital was also held on the Saturday night at Camberwell RSL with Jim Murray and Jamie Hawke.

The CLASP League is based on results from all CLASP in-person and online competitions held throughout the league year, from August to July.
Each league season begins with the World Solo Amateur Piping Competition at Piping Live in August and concludes at the Inveraray Highland Games in July.
The overall league winners are presented with a commemorative clasp keepsake recognising their achievement from the previous league season.
