Damp conditions and the proximity of the Northern Meeting reduced entries at Pitlochry Games held on Saturday, September 13.

From a fully subscribed list of 20 only 13 played. The Champion Piper was Ross Conner, Campbeltown, with three first in the light music. Ross is pictured above with his trophies. The ceòl mòr is sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society.

Recital Competition
Douglas Gardiner of the Eagle Pipers Society, the promoter: ‘Cameron Drummond won the 2025 Captain John A MacLellan MBE Memorial Dinner & Recital Competition. He played, appropriately, the Edinburgh Piobaireachd.

‘The event was held on Saturday 30th August at the Caledonian Hotel, Edinburgh. It was judged by Jimmy Banks MBE. The other pipers were: Ian K MacDonald, Iain Speirs and Jamie Forrester.’
