Worlds Full Results: Boghall Do It At Last!

Boghall’s P/M Ross Harvey leads the march from the field with P/Sgt Callum Watson taking over. In a nice touch, former P/M Ross Walker was invited to join the front rank

Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia, under P/M Ross Harvey, are the new World Pipe Band Champions. They were placed first ahead of Field Marshal Montgomery today at Glasgow Green. SFU took the drumming title.

190 bands took part across all grades. Conditions were wet and windy with occasional sunshine.  The RSPBA summary sheets showed the final totals. (Such were the numbers accessing the site that it crashed on Saturday evening and still had not been restored on the Sunday.)

The Grade 1 title was earned over two days of competition before 16 judges, each contributing to the final total. Results:
