A pleasant day in the north with enhanced prizemoney and a relaxed, welcoming day with Tain Highland Games Piping Convenor Duncan MacGillivray ensuring everything went to plan. Tain Games are sponsored by Glenmorangie malt whisky. Judges were Jimmy Jackson for the seniors and Mr Jackson was joined by Archie Maclean for the senior MSR and JIg. Pipers enjoyed not having to pay an entry fee and entered on the field. Free soup and sandwiches and a free dram was provided all courtesy Glenmorangie.
