Bands Kick into Life: News from Scottish Power/ SFU/ Field Marshal

Scottish Power Pipe Band restart their practices from Monday January 9 with a number of new players in the ranks. The band, led by P/M Chris Armstrong and Leading Drummer Jake Jørgensen, have announced that music from last year’s ‘Revolution’ concert in Aberdeen have been made available for free. The band is pictured on stage at the concert in the picture above.

Commenting on the band’s latest release, Pipe Major Chris Armstrong said, ‘I am very keen for everyone to be able to listen to and enjoy (for free) all these concert sets that were recorded live on the night. We were delighted to have join us on stage some very talented musicians and these recordings now capture all that and make for a fitting reminder of an excellent evening up in Aberdeen.

‘The concert was streamed ‘live’ over Facebook on the night in a first for us and this latest upload is another opportunity for us to continue sharing our material. I really hope everyone enjoys these tracks just as much as we enjoyed playing them on the night.’

SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform that enables its users to upload, record, promote, and share their originally created sounds. Click link to – REVOLUTION TRACKS.
