Andy Wilson, Northern Ireland, won the Piobaireachd at the annual Scottish Pipers’ Association professional contest held today at the College of Piping in Glasgow. Andy also won the overall prize.

  1. March of the British legion was composed by my grandfather Walter James cowan(ex scots guards). He don’t think it was good enough to win a composition contest and his brother Jack (ex KOSB)entered it in the competition. It won the contest. So it was Ross’s grandfather that entered the tune but didn’t compose it.
