The John MacLellan contest is one of the last professional contests of the year. Since being established in 2013 it has grown in stature with a strong entry through the grades and top judges presiding. The event is always very efficiently run by the Army School under the guidance pf Director Major Steven Small.

Listeners are very welcome to attend and there are refreshments throughout the day. The picture above shows winners from last year’s contest.

Don’t forget the Shotts Juniors contest being held at Coatbridge High School a week earlier. Inaugurated last year, this was a very well run contest with excellent prizes and perfect facilities for the audience.Shotts-Junior2015-500
