The Trust is encouraging young pipers to compete in solo competition and this is an excellent environment to experience the discipline of competing on your own. The Trust acknowledges the kind support that the event has from Pipe Major Jimmy Banks and The Scots Guards Association who organise judges and stewards. Thanks also to Nan Johnstone of Oban High School who administrated the event.
