logo-stewart-societyA new composing competition has been announced by the Stewart Society. It is being run  by the Piping Centre. The Gordon Stewart Memorial Competition is open to all and is for a two-parted 2/4 or 4/4 march. First prize is £300. Closing date is June 30th. Judges are the Centre’s Roderick MacLeod, Finlay MacDonald and Finlay Johnston. The prize will be presented at the Stewart Gathering in August at Ballone, Ross-shire. Read more here.
