Today we continue or series of articles concerning one of the major figures in 20th century ceol mor, James Campbell, Kilberry (left). Piobaireachd scholar and senior adjudicator Norman Matheson, Aberdeen, has edited together important details he gathered in letters from James over a number of years. In this excerpt Mr Matheson looks at the Cameron v Macpherson ‘controversy’ and records what James had to say on much-discussed style points credited to each ‘school’. Read the full article here.
